Celebrated British TV Commentator Rob Walker in Uganda

The celebrated British sports Journalist touched base in Uganda earlier this month for his two weeks tour in the Pearl of Africa. Rob Walker was welcomed and ushered into the country by the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) who took charge of his stay in the country for the ast two weeks. In his words he said he last visited Uganda in 2017 and is excited to not only acquaint himself with old places but also rediscover some new areas in the country. Walker noted that from the first day he came to Uganda in 2005, he found it as the friendliest place to be. He said there is a bigger picture wider than just tourism or sport like an opportunity to continue changing  the way people view African content. Walker further noted Uganda as a place of imensely friendly people with beautiful countryside, with young men and women who are going to be the flower of the Pearl of Africa, Uganda is a very beautiful country, with great hospitality and endowment. “The more we open our eyes to what a special place this is  on equal terms with many other places in the world, the more we can do that the sooner we can spread the word that Uganda is a hot topic of conversation. In her remarks, Lily Ajarova the Uganda Tourism Board CEO pointed out that sports and tourism were complimentary areas of interest in the country. She emphasised the Pearl of Africa as the richest country in Africa if not in the world. She also highlighted that Rob’s visit to the Pearl would add value and marketing efforts of the country. Rob Walker visited a number of attractions in the country suchas national parks and historical places around the country.
