Upon arrival in Bujumbura, you will be met by one of our representatives who will then Transfer you from airport to your Hotel located at the heart of Bujumbura City. If you arrived early in the day, you have the opportunity of having a small city tour of Bujumbura.

After a hearty breakfast this morning, you will depart for the Kibira National Park passing via the Batwa Pigmees Village at Bugesera – Bugarama for a short visit.
Once in Kabira National Park, enjoy a walk in the Park – Teza in the morning and another later that afternoon.
Later, head for Diner at Le Paradis Hotel on FB over live entertainment with a traditional Inanga.
Today has so much cultural experience lined up for you after breakfast. You will head out for the the Igiseke basket weaving session in Kayanza, be a part of a 1st Female Traditional Dance performance in Ngozi, have a Traditional lunch, visit a local wine factory, be entertained by the Intore Warrior Dance in Kirundo.

Departure for bird watching at Rwihinda Lake of Birds – Kirundo on a small canoe. Thereafter, continue to Ruvubu National Park – Muyinga/Cankuzo having lunch en route
Later, continue for the overnight at Agahimbare Hotel – Muyinga on FB
After breakfast, you will depart for the Gishora Sacred Drums – Gitega where you will be entertained with a presentation on the history and meaning of the Gishora Royal Sanctuary, a performance by the Gishora Sacred Drummers.
You will have lunch here and in the afternoon have a demonstration on how the make and play a Burundi Traditional Drum
Later you will visit of the Gitega National Museum after which you will head to your Hotel on Gitega for the night on FB.
After breakfast, you will set out for small city tour of Gitega to discover our German heritage after which you will visit the Rubumba Royal Burial Palace, and have lunch at the Kiganda Peace Treaty site.
Later, visit the Agasumo Water Falls in Mwaro. Take in the view and relax awhile.

There is many places that are claimed to be the source of the longest river in Africa(The River Nile) and Burundi also, believes that the Nile begins from their country. Today, you will have an opportunity to visit the Source of the Nile in Rutovu Burundi.
After lunch, you will set out for a walk to the Muhweza Hot Springs and also have an opportunity of being introduced/ acquainted with a Burundi traditional family.

Today, you will visit the German Fault – Nyakazu. He German Fault is a massive gorge-like site with several hundred metres high cliffs, very close to the border to Tanzania. In 1914, at the beginning of the First World War, Nyakazu was a German military post built for controlling the eastern part of the country to Tanzania. There can actually still be found some remainders of a German fortification.
After the German Fault site, you will visit Karera Water Falls – Mpinga Kayove, where you will have lunch too. The falls are a series and you will able to visit two falls.
Later, be entertained by the Agasimbo acrobatic dance in Makamba
Overnight at East Africa Hotel – Nyanza-Lac on FB
This morning, you will departure for boat tour in Lake Tanganyika learning about the deepest Lake in Africa.
From there, you will continue to Mvugo fishing village where you can take part in fishing.
Also, you will have the opportunity to take part in some activities in a traditional Mugamba l Family, visiting fields of crops, following the cows’ shepherd among others that can fit in the time you have available.
Continue to Bujumbura via Ijenda, visiting the local market before concluding the day at your hotel on Bujumbura and dancing at local live bars and night clubs (optional)
Today, you have a day to relax with optional activities like steam bath and massage at your hotel in Bujumbura
Visit Blue Bay Beach Resort in Rumonge and relax on the white sandy.
Later have dinner and live Karaoke at Chez Cyrille. You can drink in late and even go dancing at local live bars and night clubs (optional).

After breakfast, you will depart for a visit to Rusizi National Reserve near Bujumbura after which you will visit the main historical monuments of Bujumbura.
In the afternoon, you can head out to Shop for souvenirs at Maison Fleurie arts and crafts centre and also you have the option of visiting the Bujumbura horse riding club.
Later, relax at Bora Bora Beach (relaxation, water and beach sports)
