An 8 day Sports fishing itinerary which will give you the best of both worlds: the thrill of fishing the powerful Perch in the dramatic setting of Murchison Falls National Park where the fish are famed for their intense fighting ability and Island of Lake Victoria.

Day one: Arrival- Kampala.
Arrive at the airport where your guide from Churchill Safaris will warmly welcome you and transfer you to either Serena Kampala Hotel (High end/luxurious accommodation), Hotel Africana (Medium class accommodation) or Namirembe Guest House (Low budget/basic accommodation). B/B.

Day Two: Kampala - Murchison Falls.
After breakfast, you will drive from Kampala through Uganda’s rolling green hills to Murchison falls National Park. In the late afternoon we will descend to the base of Murchison falls themselves and fish the evening for three hours. A relative level of fitness will be required as the decent is relatively steep. In the dramatic pools below the legendary waterfall we will be targeting the large Nile Perch which can have been caught in these waters over 100 Kilos. We will then return and over night at either Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp(High end/luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge(Medium class accommodation) or Red Chilli Rest Camp(Low budget/basic accommodation). Day Three: Murchison Falls:
This morning you will fish the river Nile by boat below the world renowned Murchison falls for the Nile perch and other species several of which can be taken on a fly including the Awaka a small tiger and the Ungara. You will spend the whole day fishing from the boat and the shore. The boat trip is also excellent for game viewing as you will be fishing in one of the best game areas on the Nile which can prove very exciting at times. Over night at either Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp(High end/luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge(Medium class accommodation) or Red Chilli Rest Camp(Low budget/basic accommodation). Day Four: Murchison Falls.

Today we will fish the big pools below the falls with lures, live bait and flies for the large perch. Again there are other species that can provide excellent sport. We will take a picnic and plenty of cold drinks and spend the day on these magnificent pools. Overnight either Paraa Safari Lodge or Nile Safari Camp(High end/luxurious accommodation), Sambiya River Lodge(Medium class accommodation) or Red Chilli Rest Camp(Low budget/basic accommodation). F/B

Day Five: Murchison - Entebbe.
After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls and later proceed to Entebbe and over night at either Imperial Resort Beach Hotel (High end accommodation or Boma Guest house ( Medium class) Golf View Inn ( Low budget). F/B.

Day Six: Lake Victoria.
After breakfast, you will take a boat and go for fishing on Lake Victoria and over night at G&C’s tented Camp on Ngamba Island. F/B.

Day Seven: Lake Victoria - Entebbe.
Spend the whole day Victoria on all the neighboring Island of Lake Victoria returning to Entebbe in the evening and over night at either Imperial Resort Beach Hotel (High end accommodation or Boma Guest house ( Medium class) Golf View Inn ( Low budget). F/B.

Day Eight: Entebbe - Out.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to catch your flight back home depending on international flight departure times to later catch your flight back home.

Luxurious accomodation (Hotels/Lodges and Permanent Tented Camps):

If there are 2 clients on safari, the price per person will be circa $1,980 for the whole trip including the fishing permit.

If there are 4 clients on safari, the price per person will be circa $ 1,840 for the whole trip including the fishing permit.

If there are 6 clients on safari, the price per person will be circa $ 1,699 for the whole trip including the fishing permit.

Please note that the single supplement charge per person for the whole trip is $ 510.

Please note that the above cost includes all accommodation, all meals apart from Kampala hotels which are B/B, a full time safari guide with his associated expenses, all ground transportation and airport transfers, all fuel, fishing permits, boat trips, fishing equipment, bottled water, coffee or tea while on road, other activities while on safari and all applicable Government Taxes.

Excluded are; Alcohol, tips, air fare, any extras outside the outlined itinerary, personal insurance, personal services like laundry, phone calls etc.

Transportation:
Please note that clients will be travelling in 4wheel drive vehicles, with enough legroom, with well-experienced fishing guides who can handle all the requirements of the discerning traveller.
