CH40 –The best of Rwanda – 9 days
Day One: Arrival – Kigali, Kanombe airport.
On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your representative who will then transfer you to Serena hotel/Novotel /Intercontinental (high end accommodation or Okapi hotel (Low budget) Kigali for the over night. Dinner and over night at either Serena hotel/Novotel /Intercontinental (high end accommodation or Okapi hotel (Low budget) .B/B
Day Two: Kigali –Akagera – 2 hours drive.
After breakfast, you will explore Kigali by visiting the Genocide Museum and the dancing pots. After lunch, you will proceed to Akagera Natioal park arriving in the evening. Dinner and over night at either Akagera Game Lodge (High end) or Camping (Low budget). F/B.
Day Three: Akagera.
Have a morning game drive, relax at the lodge and later have another evening game drive retuning to the lodge in the evening. Dinner and over night at either Akagera Game Lodge (High end) or Camping (Low budget). F/B.
Day Four: 5 hours drive
After breakfast, you will drive to then continue to Nyungwe National park having lunch in Kigali arriving at Nyungwe in the evening. This is the park best known for Monkeys, chimpanzees and many other primates in Rwanda. Dinner and over night at either Gisakura Guest house (high end accommodation) Camping (Low budget). F/B.
Day Six:
This morning you will go for chimp tracking in Nyungwe National park and later drive to Lake Kivu arriving in the evening. Dinner and over night at either Kivu Sun Hotel (high end accommodation) Camping (Low budget). F/B.
Day Seven:
Have a morning boat trip on the lake, drive along the lake to Gisenyi and later to Ruhengeri. Over night Gorilla Nest Hotel (high end accommodation) or Kinigi huest house (Low budget). F/B.
Day Eight:
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Parc National des Volcans for l gorilla tracking returning to the lodge in the afternoon. Relax and over night at Gorilla Nest Hotel or Kinigi guest house.
Day Nine:
Morning forest walk to visit the Diana Fossey grave and later transfer back to Kigali to catch your flight back home.

High end/luxurious accommodation:
If there are 2 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $3,299 including one gorilla permit.
If there are 3-4 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $2,699 including one gorilla permit.
If there are 5-6 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $2,340 including one gorilla permit..
The single supplement is $395 for the whole trip.
Medium class accommodation:
If there are 2 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $ 2,499 including one gorilla permit..
If there are 3-4 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $2,260 including one gorilla permit.
If there are 5-6 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $2,099 including one gorilla permit.
The single supplement is 280 for the whole trip.
Low budget/basic accommodation.
If there are 2 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $ 2,098 including one gorilla permit..
If there are 3-4 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $ 1,980 including one gorilla permit.
If there are 5-6 pax on safari, the cost per person will be $ 1,780 including one gorilla permit.
The single supplement is $166 for the whole trip.

Important:
Please note the gorilla tracking in this itinerary can be done in Uganda as well if permits/accommodation can’t be got in Rwanda at the time of your booking.
Gorilla tracking is dependant on the permits availability at the time of your booking. Gorilla permits in all park are on a very high demand and we advise that you book them as early as possible.
