LAKE NAKURU EXPRESS:
US$ 180 per person
Lake Nakuru lies in the volcano-strewn Rift Valley, one of the chains of 8 lakes which stretch the length of Kenya from Tanzania to Ethiopia. The 160 km drive from Nairobi passes through the highland farms of the Kikuyu people before descending the escarpment into the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley. The first stop is the Lake Nakuru, where is to be found the most awesome bird spectacle in the world – millions of great and lesser flamingoes which transform the shores of the lake into a breathtaking ‘carpet’. Lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, thereafter a game drive around the lake and the protected park which has a sanctuary for endangered animal species such as the Black and White Rhino and Rothschild Giraffe among others. A brief stopover for afternoon tea served in the scenic and lush grounds of the Lake Naivasha Country Club. Thereafter continue back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
Includes entry fees and water.
Minimum 2 pax.
