Booking terms and conditions for Churchill safaris and Travel Ltd.
Reservations and payment
Upon confirming of your holiday with us, you must sign and
fax back to us a booking form which confirms that you are in agreement
with these conditions and pay the appropriate deposit.
Please note that full payment is required for bookings
made with in 4 weeks of departure.
Cancellation
The deposit is paid to us as a sign of your willingness to utilize
travel arrangements and accommodation which we reserve on your behalf.
Should you or any member of your booking cancel your holiday, you
must do so in writing and all cancellations are subject to a certain
charge based on estimated losses and calculated as follows;
For cancellations received 60 - 30 days before departure, 20% of the
safari cost is forfeited.
For cancellations received 29-15 days before departure, 70% of the
safari cost is forfeited.
For cancellations received 14 days or less before departure,
100% of the safari cost is forfeited; however you can
contact your insurance company for the refund.
There will be no refund for gorilla permits as this is a direct policy
from the Uganda Wildlife authority.
Please note that if you just post pone your holiday
to a definite future date, you will not incur any cancellation
charges.
Insurance Scheme
It is a requirement when booking your holiday that you arrange personal
travel insurance which is valid and effective.
Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness,
physical handicap, advanced pregnancy or mental illness are advised
not to participate in such rigorous travel programs.
Please note that Churchill safaris sells the EMERGENCY RESCUE TRAVEL
INSURANCE under AAR.
So kindly inform us if you would like to buy this insurance
from us at the time of your booking.
Baggage
All baggage and personal belongings are at all times
at the passengers own risk.
Itinerary alterations
We will do our utmost to provide the holiday arrangements
that have been confirmed, but Churchill Safaris reserves
the right to modify or alter the itinerary if unforeseen
circumstances like flight schedule, security matters,
accommodation, make such alterations necessary.
Liability
It should be noted that your booking is accepted on
the understanding that you come on the holiday entirely
on your own risk due to the fact that there are certain
inherent dangers involved with adventure travel.
